Answerado · Springfield, Missouri
Terms of Service
These terms cover the Answerado website, the free AI visibility audit and our monthly plan. Answerado is a small business in Springfield, Missouri. We’ve kept them in plain English. If anything is unclear, ask us before you sign up.
No Guarantee of Rankings
We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings or AI recommendations. We also don’t guarantee placements, traffic, calls or sales. Google, Bing, Apple, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other services decide what they show, change how they work without notice, and can give different answers to the same question.
What we do promise is the work described in your plan, done each month, and an honest monthly report that shows what changed, good or bad.
The Free Audit
The audit is free, with no card and no obligation. It shows the answers AI apps gave on the day we checked. Those answers change over time and can differ from person to person, so treat the audit as a snapshot, not a promise. The report is yours to keep.
The Monthly Plan
Before any paid work starts, we agree in writing on your price and what your plan includes. Email counts. If we both sign a separate service agreement, that agreement controls wherever it differs from these terms.
Your first month’s payment is the initiation fee and covers the setup work, so there’s no separate setup fee. After that, the plan renews each month until you cancel. Pricing covers one location unless we agree otherwise.
Payment
Each month is paid at the start of that month. If a payment doesn’t go through, we’ll let you know and may pause the work until it’s sorted out.
Cancellation and Termination
There’s no long contract. Cancel anytime by emailing hello@answerado.com. If you cancel before your next billing date, you won’t be charged again. A month you’ve already paid for isn’t refunded, and we keep working through the end of it unless you ask us to stop.
We can end the plan too, with 30 days’ notice, or right away if a payment is seriously overdue, the working relationship becomes abusive, or we’re asked to do something illegal.
Ownership and Access
Your business, your accounts and your content stay yours, during the plan and after it. That includes your Google Business Profile and other listings, your website, your reviews, your reports, and the pages and answers we write for you once they’re paid for. We keep our own tools, templates and know-how.
We work through access you give us, like a manager role on your Google Business Profile or our own login on your website. We never ask for your passwords. You can remove our access anytime, and we remove it ourselves when the plan ends.
If your plan includes call tracking, we only change the phone number on your listings or website with your written OK. The tracking numbers sit in our account. When you leave, we put your own number back first, and we can move a tracking number to you if you want to keep it.
Client Responsibilities
We need accurate information about your business, the access required to do the work, and a reply when something needs your OK. You’re responsible for the facts about your own business, like your prices, licenses, service area and hours, and for keeping your accounts in good standing.
Honest Marketing Only
We never write, buy or fake reviews, and we never post false claims about your business or anyone else’s. We may turn down any request that would break the law or the rules of Google, Yelp, the AI apps or the other platforms we work on.
Third-Party Services
Our work depends on companies we don’t control, like Google, Bing, Apple, Yelp, OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity. They can change features, reject edits or suspend listings. We aren’t responsible for their decisions, but we’ll tell you what happened and what we can do about it.
Calls, Texts and Email
When you book a consultation, you agree that we can call, text or email you about it. We don’t send marketing texts. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from us. Our Privacy page explains how we handle your information.
Limitation of Liability
We do our work with care. Beyond what these terms and your plan promise, our services are provided as they are, without other warranties.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost profits or other indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. These limits don’t apply to fraud, intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects a plan you’re on, we’ll email you before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you don’t agree.
Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, and any dispute about them will be handled in the state courts of Greene County, Missouri, or the federal court for the Western District of Missouri, Southern Division.
